NOROLLE HOSTS GELBVIEH 2007 AGM

Clyde and Alison Johnson were honoured to host the Australian Gelbvieh Association
Annual General Meeting at “Norolle” Millmerran, on Saturday 17 March 2007.

Members from Victoria, NSW and Queensland enjoyed country hospitality with some folks
arriving Friday and departing on Sunday 18 March.

The overnight stay was a great opportunity to share viewpoints on the Gelbvieh breed
and total industry situation, along with making new friendships and renewing old ones.

Lady in Red Z56 placed first in the 14 to 16 months class of 26 heifers which also included Australian Lowline, Braford, Charbray, Charolais, Droughtmaster, Limousin, Murray Grey, Santa Gertrudis and Simmental entries.

The Clifton (Qld) Show’s inaugural All Breeds Stud Cattle Heifer Show was held under lights on the evening of 17 February 2006. There were 97 entries and Norolle Lady in Red Z56 was in the final line up of three for the Championship along with her stable mate from Norolle Millmerran, a GK Red Angus heifer, who won the Reserve Senior Championship.

Norolle Absolute Power U77 was Senior and Grand Champion Bull at the 2002 Sydney Royal Easter Show while he was then still the current Brisbane Royal Champion.

BRISBANE 2001 INTERBREED CHAMPION PAIR

Gelbvieh blitzed the field in the Interbreed Championship Competition at the 2001 Qld Royal Show in Brisbane - 35 breeds and 24 judges! Norolle Lady in Red T62 and Norolle Absolute Power U77 were the judges choice - clear winners at 12 points ahead of the Charolais pair !

Supreme Beef Champion Female - Norolle Lady in Red T62 was the Champion Gelbvieh Female with her heifer calf at foot by Remitall Fire Power 101F. The Champion Gelbvieh Bull was Norolle Absolute Power by Remitall Fire Power 101F and he was placed 3rd overall. Together - their points added up as the Interbreed Championship Competition winners.

The INTERBREED CHAMPIONS are both bred and owned by the Johnson Family and prepared by Kirrily Johnson-Iseppi.

2000 QUEENSLAND ROYAL SHOW

All our exhibits won broad ribbons.

2000 Queensland Royal Show highlight was exhibiting the Grand Champion Female - Norolle Lady in Red T62. She and the Grand Champion Gelbvieh Bull were the Runners Up to the Interbreed Champion Pair out of 35 breeds.

1999 QUEENSLAND ROYAL SHOW BRISBANE

A major highlight for our stud was showing the Supreme Interbreed
Champion Pair at the 1999 Queensland Royal Show in Brisbane.

	RP'S Madonna S410 owned by Kirrily and Gavin; and the home bred Norolle Polled Right Choice owned by Norolle Cattle Company
1999 Queensland Royal Show Interbreed Champions paraded by Kirrily & Gavin Iseppi.

Norolle Polled Right Choice is by Mastermind out of a Poll Newman daughter and RP’S MADONNA S410, Champion Futurity Female at the World Gelbvieh Conference showing, was purchased at the 1999 Sydney Royal.

RP’s Madonna S410 had a lovely heifer calf at foot. She calved in September 2000 to Fire Power 101F with another lovely heifer. Right Choice was sold into a Charolais herd for cross breeding.


1999 WORLD GELBVIEH CONFERENCE - SYDNEY

We were pleased to show two Reserve Champion Females at the 1999 Sydney Royal in front of the World Gelbvieh Conference crowd and to display the rest of our team.
